From “I Can’t” to totally Crushing It

I started at Bent on Better a year ago after already losing 40 lbs on my own with just dieting and had reached a point in my journey where my dr and I felt it was time to incorporate physical fitness.
Being as I absolutely DESPISED gyms and any form of workouts, I knew I was going to hate every minute of this.
But then I met Matt and his awesome team of trainers and my whole viewpoint changed.
They worked with me to get through all of my physical limitations (and there were many) as well as my mental blocks of “I can’t do this” or “I’ll never be able to do that” and showed me through patience and gentle persistence that I could and I did.
You will never find another gym, trainers, or members as supportive or welcoming as you do at Bent on Better.

I have lost an additional 13 lbs of body fat – which I would NEVER have been able to do on my own.
I went from vowing to only go once a week to then going twice a week and now going the maximum of three days a week and absolutely love it.
I even found that I now have an absolute LOVE for weightlifting and actually get goosebumps when I walk through those doors at 6:30 am and see the trap bars set up!!
I have met a great group of friends in my workout group (Shout Out to the 6:30 crew) and they are all so encouraging and supportive as well.
You will never find another gym or trainers or members as supportive or welcoming as you do at Bent on Better.
Making the choice to join the B.O.B family was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!
