A Light In The Darkness
with Jesse Jackson
a Bent On Better series
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
In episode 004 of the Bent on Better podcast, where better means becoming the best you in health, fitness, and overall wellness, my guest is Jesse Jackson and we discuss how to be a light in the darkness.
Jesse is the owner and operator of Inner Strength Fitness, a progressive rehab, personal training, and boot camp business.
Jesse is now starting a movement entitled “Generation Grow Up” which seeks to reach the young men of America by sharing and inspiring the importance of integrity, authenticity, and focus in their daily lives.
Jesse is truly Bent on Better.
Some take-away points we discuss in this episode:
1. Changing from the inside
2. Seeing the bigger picture
3. Providing value in your life
Jesse’s final thought, “think less of yourself and more of others.”

Huge thanks to my guest, Jesse Jackson of Inner Strength Fitness, for joining me this week for another great episode. I’m excited for the next one. But until next time, remember, even though you may be content with your current situation, there is always room to be better. Now it’s time to become the best you.
