Getting Started in Fitness
with Kat Musni
a Bent On Better session
“Your health is the foundation you build your life upon. When you feel strong physically it transcends into every facet of your life.”
In episode 008 of the Bent On Better podcast, where better means becoming the best you in health, fitness, and overall wellness, my guest is Kat Musni and we discuss getting started in fitness and life.
Kat is a spunky, 24 year-old, certified personal trainer and health coach.
Her main focus within her fitness career is teaching high energy boot camp style fitness classes while also making free workout videos on YouTube.
She also loves to post unique exercises and healthy recipes on her Instagram for anyone who wants a nice change from their normal routines along their fitness journey.
Kat is truly Bent On Better.
Some take-away points we discuss in this episode:
1. Build a strong foundation.
2. Sometimes you need to take step back and realize you’re stronger than you think you are.
3. Focus your energy on the things you can control.
Kat’s final thought, “Go at your own pace and never compare yourself to another person…as long as you’re trying, that’s all that matters.”
