The Gym That Changed My Mind About Fitness

One Year Update: One year later, I’m still loving everything about this place.
The people are amazing and I feel like I’ve hit every one of my initial goals when I joined.
Over a hundred sessions under my belt I feel better than ever (and have lost nearly 50lbs!). Thank you BOB!!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt I had to in this case… I joined Bent on Better about 3 months ago.
It’s been the best decision I’ve made in years.
If you’re reading this review, you probably are thinking some of the same things I did when researching gyms/classes – “…it’s time for a change, but I don’t know what to do, I haven’t exercised in years how do I get started, I’m not 18 anymore and a couple of concussions and/or broken bones later how do I make this work?..”
They are amazing. They make exercise fun – for everyone!

Well, let me tell you right now – this team will make it work.
They are amazing. They make exercise fun – for everyone!
They find workarounds for exercises that are problematic (bad shoulder, do this, vertigo, do that, etc.), they know when to push and when to pull back.
Zero judgment from the members or trainers (you know how valuable this is if you’ve been to large gym anytime in the last ten years and are over 30 and not in the best shape) and zero pressure.
It’s wonderful to be in a class but not feel like you are “less” b/c you can’t do the heavy lifts or advanced exercises.
You will find people just like you – regardless as to your fitness level.
Finally, they give back to the community.
Whether it’s through their Better Sweat Foundation or group activities like Earth Day cleanup.
It’s nice to support a local business that is giving back to the community.
After 20+ years, I love exercising again. Thank you Bent on Better!
